Did you know that Everett-Bethany Deaf Assembly has one of the largest Deaf congregations in the state? See why.
Pastor Nick LeFors, Jr., who is Deaf himself, delivers God's word in ASL. The combination of having direct communication, in depth knowledge of the Bible and his gift for presenting his message in a way that relates to our everyday life, makes some very complicated scripture come to life and easier to comprehend. Pastor Nick's kindness and unassuming manner make him a very approachable person and someone with whom you would enjoy having fellowship.
BDA congregation has an outstanding collection of men, women and young adults, the majority of whom are Deaf. We have a very welcoming and comfortable feel because we are deaf focused, even though we have many ASL students in our congregation. We welcome everyone to join us and be part of our family. We are a very supportive congregation of Christian brothers and sisters who are always willing to lend a hand.
BDA is proud to have a Men's and a Women's Ministry. The ministries have been busy serving by hosting fundraising events, for example, our "Valentine Banquet" and Memorial Day Picnic or preparing meals and scheduling visits to a sick or injured church member.
If that's not enough to pique your interest, BDA also has weekly Bible Study class, and annual Deaf Family Camping to beautiful Evergreen Washington State!
We hope you will visit us at Bethany Deaf ! We would love to meet you and have you become part of our BDA family!
